How to put a motivational quote on an iPhone Lock Screen

Choose the line before you choose the wallpaper

A Lock Screen is a poor place for a sentence you will scroll past. Choose one line that can survive an ordinary morning, then check the author and source before you give it a permanent place. Add the RiseHush widget to your iPhone Lock Screen

Install the current RiseHush build, then wake the iPhone and touch and hold the Lock Screen until the wallpaper chooser appears. Tap Customize, choose the Lock Screen, tap the widget area, and select Add Widgets. Search for RiseHush, choose the available quote widget size, and finish with Done.

Apple’s widget flow can vary slightly by iOS version, device, and the widget families an app currently exposes.
